About ISCE
The International Society for Computerized Electrocardiology (ISCE) was
established in 1984 in the state of California as a non-profit organization
devoted to the advancement of electrocardiology through the application
of computer methods. An outgrowth of the Engineering Foundation, which sponsored
the early annual meetings since 1975, it aims at achieving its goals by
various means:
- Sponsorship and organization of the conferences on the Computerized
Interpretation of the Electrocardiogram
- Promotion of research and dissemination of research results through
publication of conference proceedings
- Stimulation of collaborative links among researchers, industrial developers
and medical practitioners to promote transfer of technology
- Development of methods for communication and education relevant to the
subject
- Encouragement and support for young investigators in the field
- Provision of a venue for validating computer programs and development
of data bases for such validation
